This is the beginning of my weblog chronicling the progress of the restoration of my newly acquired 1970 Suzuki AC50 'Maverick'. A 1970 AC50 was my first motorcycle. I'm restoring this bike to ride in the annual True Grits 50cc Fun Run at T.W.O. in the fall. Here's a photo of me picking up the bike in Columbus, Ohio on July 13, 2003.
